Your Questions, Answered

You don’t need to be in crisis or have a diagnosis to benefit from counselling.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, struggling with your emotions, experiencing a difficult life event or simply feel that something isn’t quite right, counselling can provide a safe and supportive space to explore what’s going on.
-
I offer a free, 30 minute consultation. This is an opportunity to get to know each other. I will ask you some questions about the types of things you would like to discuss during our sessions and answer any questions you have. I will also gather some basic information from you.
-
Our first session is a continuation of our initial consultation.
We will get to know each other and I will explain more about how I work, confidentiality and safeguarding.
There may be some paperwork to look over as I use questionnaires to help me and you gage the progress you’re making.
Share as much or as little as you want!, remember this is a journey. We will work at a pace that feels right for you.
-
Each session lasts 50 minutes.
I offer open-ended counselling, I won’t put a deadline on your journey. Healing and becoming yourself again takes time, it can’t be rushed.
We will regularly review how you’re feeling and decide what feels right for you.
-
At present, I offer counselling online via secure video call and by telephone.
Many clients find remote counselling offers flexibility and allows them to access support from the comfort of their own home.

Individual counselling sessions are £50 for 50 minutes.

It is completely okay!
Feeling emotions in the moment is all part of counselling, you can have a minute if you need one.

That is completely understandable!
Taking the first step in your counselling journey can be scary and full of unknowns. Many people feel the same before reaching out.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before you contact me. Whether you know exactly why you need counselling, or you’re still figuring it out, you’re welcome to give me a message.
We’ll begin exactly where you are.
